Girard Medical Center Foundation Donates $2000

Launch the media gallery 1 playerThis past October, the Girard Medical Center Foundation held their annual cancer awareness t-shirt fundraiser. They are excited to announce $2,000.00 was raised in total and proceeds are being donated to two outstanding, local charities and to the Girard Medical Center Radiology Department.
Members of the Foundation Board presented checks to Care to Share, and Angels Among Us for $500.00 each. Diana Polston accepted the donation on behalf of Angels Among Us, and Teresa Davenport accepted the donation on behalf of Care to Share. The remaining $1,000.00 has been donated to the GMC Radiology Department to purchase new mammography patient supplies for breast cancer screenings.
A huge thank you to everyone that participated and helped them make this year’s fundraiser successful!
