GMC Welcomes New Executive Director of the Foundation!
Girard Medical Center announces the appointment of Ronda Ison as Executive Director of the Foundation.
The Girard Medical Center Foundation serves to encourage ongoing community support in financing the hospital as well as strengthen their communications and provide long-term leadership. Isonâs position is responsible for generating revenue from individuals and corporations for the betterment of the hospital as well as providing coordination and leadership for the Foundation Board and other volunteers.
âWe are excited to have Ronda Ison as our Director and strongly feel that she is a great fit to fulfill our needs. We look forward to watching the Foundation prosper and grow to new levels under her direction,â said Greg Sullivan, Foundation Board President.
Ison previously was the Director of Resource Development for the United Way of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas. She has her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Pittsburg State University. She is currently a member of Sunrise Rotary, P.E.O. Chapter AQ, St. Maryâs PTO and participates in various church activities. A Pittsburg native, Ison and her husband John have three children Nicholas, Greta, and Anthony.
