GMC Foundation Receives Pritchett Grant Award
The Girard Medical Center Foundation is honored and excited to announce that the foundation has been awarded a grant totaling $3600.00 from the Pritchett Trust.
The grant award will be used to purchase new Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) equipment for GMC for use in their Outreach Education Services Department. GMC provides outreach education services to schools, businesses, daycare providers, and the entire community throughout Crawford County. Funds for this project will not only provide lifesaving training for GMC employees and patients, but for local businesses, school district’s employees and students, daycare and other healthcare providers, and members throughout the community.
Kylie Smith, Community Education and Marketing Coordinator accepted the award on behalf of the GMC Foundation and Girard Medical Center at the BMO Harris Bank in Pittsburg on Thursday, September 8th.
The Girard Medical Center Foundation was one of 44 recipients of the Pritchett Trust Grant that were awarded this year totaling $552,382.00.
