Thank you for choosing Girard Medical Center as your healthcare provider! We want to make sure your stay is safe and comfortable. Please find below a few tips to ensure your safety while in our care.
ASK QUESTIONS
There may be a number of people involved in your care. Feel free to ask questions about your care and to express your preferences and concerns. You may want to bring a family member, friend or caregiver with you during your admission. A friend can put you at ease, remind you to ask certain questions and help you recall special instructions later on.

VISITING HOURS
Visitors are asked to observe the following hours when visiting hospitalized patients:
Daily 6:00 am - 8:00 pm.
In accordance with appropriate infection control policies we ask that you not visit the hospital when you have an elevated temperature, cold/flu, cough, or are experiencing nausea, vomiting, or any intestinal illness. Do not visit if you feel you may have been exposed to a communicable disease such as measles, chicken pox, etc.

In patient rooms, dial 8 for an outside line and local calls. Long distance calls may be made by dialing 8 for an outside line and then 0 for the operator. To call a patient direct, dial 620.724.5 + room number.
