Community Outreach
Girard Medical Center has an Community Education program as part of our dedication to the communities of Southeast Kansas. In our continued efforts to be proactive in the community and to promote healthy lifestyles the following services are offered:
Flu Shot Clinics are provided every fall for the community, local school employees, and local businesses and nursing homes.
Health Screenings are done for local businesses and at community functions. The screenings that are available include: finger-stick blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and BMI.
CPR and First Aid classes are provided for health care providers, community members, local business employees, and students.
