Christie Wetzel, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner
Christie Wetzel grew up in Vine Grove, Kentucky, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Murray State University in 1997. She currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and two teenage daughters. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. She is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Christie has experience in a variety of settings and populations including working with homeless Veterans struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues, as well as working with adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health issues including mood disorders and anxiety disorders as inpatients, outpatients and in partial hospitalization programs. Additionally, she has experience with eating disorder patients, trauma survivors, and patients struggling with severe mental illness, as well as in forensic psychiatry.
She is motivated to help others achieve optimum functioning and well-being by focusing on each person as an individual and working with them on identified treatment goals. She believes that people are not defined by their diagnoses alone and strives to provide compassionate and holistic care for each person and family that she encounters.
LeAnne Garland, LCSW
LeAnne received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and her Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University. LeAnne has experience working with individuals that are dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral issues and trauma. Past experiences include working on an inpatient behavioral health unit, individual and family therapy in an outpatient setting, sexual abuse and child advocacy center, MRT therapy within the prison system and overseeing an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization program.
